Clayton & 1000 Islands

With only getting lost only once (a little 20 mile jaunt down some pretty narrow lanes through farm country) we have arrived in Clayton, NY and the St Lawrence River. Planning to stay here for at least 3 nights. We’ll be exploring the river’s 1000 Islands, the little towns on Lake Ontario’s shoreline, the locks of the St Lawrence Seaway and, with cooperation from the weather get in some fishing on the small lakes and streams east of here. Weather has been great… at night in the low 60’s and daytime mid 70’s.
