Hello Nova Scotia
Entered Nova Scotia first thing this morning but yet again decided to take a “scenic route”. Two and half hours of dairy farms and potholes later we finally gave up and headed back to the highway. I think scenic drives in the Maritimes are really intended for farm machinery, compact cars and bicyclists. You get the idea that maybe these roads aren’t meant for 5th wheels when you see a herd of cows all stop grazing to look up and watch you go by. Anyway our original plan of going to the city of Halifax and start from there to explorie southwest NS has been abandoned. Several people we have met along the way said the island of Cape Breton in the Northeast is a must so here we go. We have stopped at a campground just outside Baddeck, NS and will be here for at least 3 nights.
